Buy DTF Printer Parts to Keep Your DTF Running Without Downtime

A clogged printhead at 11pm kills a deadline.

Ink won’t fire, lines drop out, and suddenly your whole run is scrap.

The right DTF Printer Parts in your shop mean you fix it in 20 minutes, not 3 days. At Picasso Print DTF, we stock the DTF replacement parts that actually fail in production, so you don’t wait on shipping.

Keep dampers, capping stations, wipers, and printheads on hand. They’re the parts that clog, leak, or wear out first. We also carry pumps, filters, tubing, and encoder strips because small failures cause big downtime.

Every part is tested with our printers before we sell it. No knockoffs. No “almost fits.”

When a job is due tomorrow, you need parts tonight. Order from Picasso Print DTF and get the spares that keep your press running, your colors clean, and your customers happy.

Every part here is tested in real shops. All sold by Picasso Print DTF. Prices as of 2026.

Waste Ink Bottle

$10.00. Catches flushed ink and cleaning cycles. 500ml capacity. Replace every 2-3 weeks on busy machines. Keeps ink off your floor and sensors clean.

Straight Ink Filter

$33.00. Inline filter before the damper. Traps particles that clog i3200-A1 nozzles. Change every 60 days. One filter saves a $1,149 printhead.

Power Supply Unit

$270.00. 24V 350W PSU for DTF printers. If your printer won’t boot or resets mid-print, this is usually it. Plug and play. No board soldering.

Peristaltic Pump

$80.00. Moves white ink and cleans the capping station. Tubing wears out every 4-6 months. Replace the whole pump to avoid air bubbles and starvation.

Origin Sensor

$10.00. It tells the carriage where home is. If you get "carriage error" or head crashes, swap this first. 2 screws, 5 minutes.

Ink Syringe Injector

$20.00. 60ml syringe with tubing. For priming dampers, clearing lines, and manual flushes. Every shop needs 3 on hand.

Ink Pump

$28.00. Small diaphragm pump for ink circulation. Keeps white from settling. Runs every 30 min. If white gets chunky, check this first.

Ink Filter

$21.99. Tank-side filter. Catches big particles before they hit the straight filter. Change monthly. Cheap insurance.

Epson i3200-A1 Printhead

$1,149.99. The heart of most DTF printers. 4 channels, 3200 nozzles. Life is 6-12 months depending on use. Don’t run dry. Don’t let white sit.

Data Cable

$6.00. Ribbon cable from board to head. If you get random nozzle drops, check for nicks. Keep a spare. They tear during head swaps.

Damper

$13.00. It holds ink pressure at the head. 8 needed per i3200. Replace every 3-4 months. Old dampers cause air and banding.

Capping Station - Picasso Print DTF

$22.00. Seals the head when idle. Has the wiper and suction. If you get dry nozzles overnight, this is worn. Swap every 6 months.

180 Encoder Strip - Picasso Print DTF

The price varies. Tells the printer carriage position. One fingerprint = banding. Clean weekly. Replace if scratched.

Maintenance Schedule That Prevents Breakdowns

Daily

Wipe the encoder strip with alcohol to prevent banding. Empty the waste bottle before it overflows. Run a nozzle check to catch clogs before your first print.

Weekly

Clean the capping station with swabs to keep the seal tight. Shake white ink bottles to prevent settling. Inspect dampers for air bubbles or ink starvation.

Monthly

Change the ink filter to stop flow issues. Check peristaltic pump tubing for cracks or wear. Test power supply voltage and confirm it reads 23.8-24.2V.

Every 3 Months

Replace all 8 dampers. $104 total. Prevents air and starvation. Also change the straight ink filter for $33 to keep ink clean and protect the printhead.

Every 6 Months

Replace the capping station for $22 to maintain suction and prevent dry nozzles. Swap the peristaltic pump for $80 to keep white ink circulating and waste flowing.

Every 12 Months

Budget for a new i3200-A1 printhead. $1,149.99. That’s $1,400/year in parts to protect an $8,000 printer. One avoided a rush job that pays for the whole maintenance.

Cost Of Ignoring DTF Printer Maintenance Parts

  1. A clogged damper causes banding. You reprint 50 shirts. $200 lost.
  2. A dry capping station kills a printhead. $1,149.99 + 2 days down.
  3. Dirty encoder = misaligned prints. Customer returns. $35 per shirt.
  4. Parts are cheap. Downtime isn’t.

How To Install Common DTF Printer Replacement Parts

Replacing Dampers - 15 minutes

  1. Power off. Move the carriage to the center.
  2. Disconnect the old damper. Note color order.
  3. Prime new damper with syringe until no air.
  4. Connect. Run 3 clean cycles. Print test.

Replacing Capping Station - 20 minutes

  1. Remove screws. Lift an old station.
  2. Connect the waste tube to the new unit.
  3. Align under head. Tighten.
  4. Run pump prime from the menu.

Replacing i3200-A1 Printhead - 45 minutes

Do this only if you’ve done dampers and cables first. 90% of "bad heads" are bad dampers. If you must: power off, discharge, swap ribbon, mount head, align, then 5 clean cycles.

Troubleshooting By Symptom

Banding

Check dampers for air bubbles and replace them if needed. Clean the encoder strip with alcohol. Swap the straight ink filter. Any restriction causes lines across your print.

Nozzle drop after idle

Capping station isn’t sealing, so ink dries in the head. Clean the rubber cap and wiper. If it still leaks, replace the capping station to restore suction.

White ink settling

White ink settles fast without circulation. If your ink pump isn’t running, check the $28 pump and timer. Run circulation every hour to keep white smooth and clog-free.

Printer won’t power on

Test the Power Supply Unit with a meter. It should read 24V, ideally 23.8-24.2V. Low voltage means the board won’t boot. Replace the PSU if it’s out of range.

Carriage error

The origin sensor is dirty or dead, so the carriage can’t find home. Clean it first. If that fails, swap the $10 sensor. Takes 5 minutes and restores movement.

DTF Printer Parts are components that keep a Direct To Film printer running. This includes printheads, dampers, pumps, filters, capping stations, and sensors. They wear out with use. Replacing them on schedule prevents clogging, banding, and downtime during production.

Change dampers every 3-4 months. Replace capping station every 6 months. Swap ink filters monthly. Peristaltic pump every 6 months. Printhead lasts 6-12 months. Following this schedule cuts failures by 70% based on our shop tracking over 2 years.

Yes, if you’re comfortable with cables and alignment. Power off, swap ribbon, mount head, then run clean cycles. Most issues come from old dampers, not the head. Test dampers first. If you’re unsure, call us. We walk customers through it.

You can buy DTF replacement parts at Picasso Print DTF. We stock i3200-A1 heads, dampers, pumps, and sensors. We ship fast and offer phone support. We help shops diagnose before they buy so you don’t waste money on the wrong part.

Banding usually means air in dampers, dirty encoder strip, or clogged filter. Check the $13 dampers first. Then wipe the encoder. If that fails, change the $33 straight filter. 8 out of 10 times it’s one of those three.

An Epson i3200-A1 printhead costs $1,149.99. Life expectancy is 6-12 months with daily use. Protect it by changing $21 filters monthly and $22 capping stations twice a year. That maintenance adds months to head life.

The capping station seals the printhead when not printing. It prevents drying. It also holds the wiper and suction pump. If it leaks, nozzles dry overnight. Replace every 6 months. It’s a $22 part that saves a $1,149 head.

If you run production, yes. A failed PSU shuts the whole printer down. The 24V 350W unit is $270. Keep one on shelf. It takes 10 minutes to swap and gets you printing again the same day.

It circulates white ink and pulls waste ink through the capping station. Tubing wears out. If white gets thick or you hear clicking, replace the $80 pump. Running without it causes clogs and head damage.

No. i3200-A1 parts fit most DTF printers, but cables and mounts differ. Check your model before ordering. At Picasso Print DTF we list compatible models. Message us with a photo and we’ll confirm fit before you buy.
