Frequently Asked Questions
Sublimation Transfers dye polyester fabric with heat. The ink becomes part of the material. Use them for t-shirts, jerseys, tote bags, and poly-coated mugs. They won’t crack or peel because the color is inside the fibers, not on top.
No. Sublimation only bonds to polyester. On cotton the color washes out fast. On 65/35 blends it looks faded and vintage. For cotton you need DTF. For polyester, sublimation is the best option.
Upload your PNG files to our Sublimation Gang Sheet Builder. Drag them to fit. We print full color on 30" or 70" paper. You get one long sheet to cut apart. It’s cheaper than single prints.
Press at 385°F for 45 seconds with medium pressure. Peel hot. Use butcher paper on top. Too hot or too long causes yellow. Too cool causes dull color. Test on scrap first.
You can buy Wholesale Sublimation Transfers at Picasso Print DTF. We offer 30" and 70" custom sheets. Upload your design. We print and ship fast. No minimums. Great for shops and online sellers.
They last the life of the garment. Because the dye bonds to polyester, it won’t crack, peel, or fade with normal washing. Wash cold and inside out. We’ve tested 50 washes with no color loss.
Use PNG with transparent background at 300 DPI. RGB color mode. We print what you upload. Low-res files will look pixelated. Vector files work best for sharp lines and text.
30" is good for small runs and testing. 70" fits more designs and drops cost per print. If you print 20+ designs weekly, 70" saves money. If you print 5-10, start with 30".
Yes. Our Sublimation Gang Sheet Builder lets you upload and arrange designs. It shows price instantly. You can do 30" or 70". No software needed. Works on phone or desktop.
Yes, if the tumbler is poly-coated. Use 385°F for 60 seconds and wrap tight. The same Custom Sublimation Gang Sheet works for apparel and hard goods. Just cut to size.
